These lamps are really easy to install anybody with basic electrical skills should be able to fit them without too much hassle. When I change light fittings, I remove the old rose completely and use the Snap shut cable connectors. This is what I did on this occasion I found the cord too long for my needs. You can wind it up and hide it but I simply cut a section away to reduce the cable needed overall. I ordered some spiral LED lights for a nice visual effect, I got clear not smoky bulbs and I think the smoky ones would reduce the overall light when you take into account the shade colour. Really really happy with the items and I will definitely purchase them again.
