The rug is soft and it absorbs. I purchased this because my dog always seems to track in mud and water after our walks. It doesn't take too long to dry after wiping your feet. It also doesn't move with the rubber bottom which is great. It is easy to wash and I recommend air drying and not throwing it in the dryer.

I wish I had been able to oder a little bit larger size. Space is limited at my front entryway.

I took this rug out a few days ago, sprayed carpet cleaner on it and cleaned it with a brush and It looks new. We had it down in front of the door all winter. I shook it outand it does what it advertises. Traps dirt.
